We Choose Art presents Shades of Water, an exhibition honoring the vitality of water in the current landscape. With climate change and the pollution of oceans at the forefront of modern environmental challenges, Shades of Water, curated by Baha H. Danesh, is highly prescient. As urgent as it is beautiful, the exhibition features painting, sculpture, photography, fiber works, and installation art in a show paired with an annual Toy Drive held by We Choose Art, benefitting MEND Poverty. Opening Friday, November 16th at the Montalban Mezz Gallery in Hollywood, the group show documents images of water and its importance, expanding upon and encouraging conversation on both climate change and sustainable energy.
