Through the Looking Glass will feature a selection of work produced over the last five extremely productive years of Moses' life. The works will exemplify the breadth of the artist’s visual vocabulary and his ever-evolving style. The title of the exhibition draws from Lewis Caroll, one of Moses' favorite writers, referring to one of the artist’s fundamental beliefs; that art is a portal to the unknown, to magical realms. Working into his 90s, Ed Moses left an indelible mark on the contemporary art world during his 60-year career as an abstract painter.
