A retrospective of large scale photographs by Sternburg taken in Mexico between 1999 and 2003 Using low tech cameras without any manipulation, often employing reflection in a new way. Sabina Arias’ mixed media works will feature a bas-relief sculpture of a maize Quetzalcoatl: the feathered serpent god, made with cardboard, corn husks and newsprint. Also screenprints and ink drawings inspired in Mesoamerican cultures will be on display.
