TIERRA SIN MALES is a spinning, spiraling, fracturing video piece which moves both with and against expectations or known laws of physics. The piece is accompanied by a deep reverberating sound track, the sounds taken from the real world. In revolving tension, the piece hovers in equilibrium/disequilibrium, precarious location, extending questions in a physical and possible world. The piece premiered at Palazzo Fortuny, Venice Biennale 2011, LOOP Festival Barcelona in Gaudi’s Casa Battló, and in 3D at Art Basel Miami.
