Dror Yisrael Hemed is known for his luscious and magnetic portrait paintings, that are based on men and women he has personal relations with, alongside snap photographes he takes in public spaces, transforming them into intimate and vivid representations of enigmatic and subtle beauty. The exhibition opens in conjunction with the city of Los Angeles LGBT Heritage Month, and as part of the Department of Cultural Affairs official programing.
