Pro-skater Samy Baptista came out of a coma with the desire to put together an art show from the visions he saw from his hospital bed. Baptista is best known for “Fulfill the Dream,” one of the most famous skate videos of all time. This film became a  stamp on the shift of skateboarding, directed and starring Chad Muska featuring Steve Olsen, Peter Smulick, Toan Nguyen, Jesse Silvey, Aaron Snyder,  Brandon Turner and Baptista. Pulling back to his roots and calling on old and new friends, Chad Muska, Oscar Meza, Kris Markovich, Thatcher, and Blikeme share their artwork along with a video installation by Michael Jon Leonard, to tell Sammy Baptista’s spiritual awakening story. This show opens on June 15th to kick off Skate Day on June 21st. Events throughout the exhibition will ensue. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Burn Foundation.
