Ends Sep 7, 2019
For the next NELA Art Walk we are excited to announce a group exhibition featuring two local artists, Adriana Castrejon and S.R. Wallace. Please join us for the opening reception during the NELA Art Walk. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. --------------------------------------------------------- Exhibiting her new series Hard Feelings, Adriana Castrejon is an architect moonlighting as an artist. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona in 2017, and since then has been working as an architect in Los Angeles. Her background in architecture sets a geometric tone in her art, and her love of Francis Bacon makes her otherwise pragmatic shapes fuzzy and dark. Adriana’s work seeks to give shapes very hard feelings. Keep up with Adriana at: https://www.instagram.com/ask_to_pet/ Exhibiting his new series A Seat at the Bar, S.R. Wallace is a Los Angeles based artist working with a variety of different mediums. He has displayed his work throughout San Diego and LA. His current work “A Seat at the Bar” is a series of portraits, documenting and romanticizing the sometimes lonely “seat at the bar”. Keep up with S.R. Wallace at: https://www.instagram.com/s.r.wallace/ https://srwallace.bigcartel.com -------------------------------------------------------- We hope to see you there!
