Saturday mornings are for cartoons. Laying around on the sofa watching shapes containing color move across the screen, across static landscapes- orchards, deserts, boats, houses, forests, up your nose and into the body of a whale. Saturated. There is something about the figures and the forms, the body extends and does things beyond language, defying gravity, stretching and bending. The way speed is described, a spiral of legs, an abstract space.
