Join us for the opening reception of Local Notions, our last gallery exhibition of 2019. As we continue to support our growing arts family in San Pedro, Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC) will showcase the best of our community. In late August AGCC released a call for art entries by artists who live or work in San Pedro. Submissions were juried by Kristina Newhouse, a San Pedro resident and curator of the Kleefeld Contemporary at California State University at Long Beach. Ultimately, the works of 56 San Pedro artists, in various mediums, were selected to be showcased. Many of the pieces will be available for sale during AGCC’s Open Studios Day on December 7th from 12 to 4pm. The exhibition runs from October 12th through December 14th, 2019. Angels Gate Cultural Center galleries are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm.
