Twentieth, the Los Angeles contemporary design gallery, is pleased to present new and exclusive pieces from London-based artist, Julian Mayor for an exhibition at THE NEW, Twentieth’s exhibition space that celebrates and explores the continually blurring lines between art and design. Mayor, who creates striking welded sculptural works, will debut a number of pieces created exclusively for this exhibition including both standing and hanging light sculptures, large wall hangings and more; all made using a variety of metallic finishes. Mayor is known for his innovative process where he digitally designs his pieces and then hand-makes each one using traditional techniques such as TIG welding.
