Matter Studio Gallery is proud to present our upcoming solo exhibition "BEING MATTER" featuring the paintings of artist Brian Atchley. A self-taught artist, Atchley was inspired to begin painting several years ago. A hobby that began as a quest to create affordable wall art grew into something much more meaningful over the years. His defining style is characterized by the use dramatic lighting, the interplay of shadows and light on the human body. In these paintings Brian focuses on the sensual, seductive, elegant strength of the human form. Beginning Sunday, September 6th @ 12pm this exhibition will be on view by appointment only.
