ArtCenter DTLA launches the online premiere of Fell for Everything, the annual group exhibition for graduating artists from ArtCenter’s Graduate Art Program. Online Exhibition begins: 09/18/20 at https://www.artcentermfa.net/exhibitions/exhibition/fell-everything Artists: Ching Ching Cheng Manyu Gao Juliana Halpert Carson Lynn Gabriel Madan Alex Nazari Edgar Ramirez Gillian Steiner Ethan Tate Sean T. Randolph Darius Vondrae Tara Walters Organized by Los Angeles based artist Adam Stamp, the exhibition is titled after Katy Perry’s 2013 mega-hit, “Roar,” she sings “I stood for nothing, so I fell for everything.” This song from not-so-long ago becomes a battle cry for the start of a new roaring twenties; a super saccharine tune about self-affirmation and Stamp’s personal wishes for the futures of this 2020 class. As he states, “a show like this, with such different voices, can’t really stand for anything, but collectively, I felt this group really did understand what it was like to fall.”
