Matter Studio Gallery is excited to announce the Memorial Crane Project's partnership with The San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center and Art Along the Boulevard. Commemorating lives lost to the Coronavirus, Karla Funderburk's art installation, consists of thousand of handmade origami cranes donated from all around the world. Along with the symbolic cranes, the names of those who have passed will be featured on the exhibitions ‘Wall of Remembrance’ along with a QR code which will direct viewers to audio recordings of stories honoring those who have passed. For COVID compliance and your safety, the installation, names and QR code will be visible through expansive windows at 18640 Ventura Blvd. Tarzana, CA 91356. We invite you, your family and friends to stop by and view this powerful and timely installation as we come together and mourn collectively during this time of tremendous loss. Exhibiting: February 17th, 2021 through May 8th, 2021 For more information on the Memorial Crane Project visit MemorialCraneProject.org For more information on The San Fernando Valley Arts & Cultural Center and the Art Along the Boulevard, visit SFVACC.org
