DMA ANNUAL 2022: POETIC REALITIES MAY 12-26, 2022 The UCLA Department of Design Media Arts is excited to announce the inaugural DMA Annual Exhibition: Poetic Realities. Following the rupture(s) and (dis)ruption of the past few years, the DMA Annual Exhibition was conceived as a new annual exhibition and alumni gathering to celebrate the dynamic works and singular artists that have emerged from the UCLA Department of Design Media Arts. This exhibition brings together the work of 10 emerging new media artists working across immersive 3D, video, sculpture, and sound. The exhibition features new works by Emma Akmakdjian, Carrie Chen, Jodi Cheung, Don Edler, Leslie Foster, Berit Gilma, Yuchi Ma, Harvest Moon, Iman Person, and Isaac Ruder. This year the DMA Annual exhibition is organized by Lauren Lee McCarthy.
