This exhibition was originally initiated through the gallery’s interest in supporting the ECF Art centers and for that reason, proceeds from the year-end charity show “That Time 2021” went into realizing this show. Artists with developmental disabilities are provided individualized support to communicate their vision through multiple artistic media. The artwork featured at Shatto Gallery focuses on abstract mark making through painting, screen and relief prints, ceramic pieces and handmade fiber-based textiles combined with sculptural elements. Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF.net) provides the highest quality services for children and adults living with developmental, learning, and emotional disabilities- empowering them to reach their greatest potential.
