Earth House Hold, a group exhibition to benefit Shout Your Abortion. Please join us Saturday August 6th from 1-6pm for the opening reception at Cafe Murmurs, the retail & cafe section at Murmurs where we typically host community events & public programming. Earth House Hold marks our third benefit show which aims to directly respond to the erratic political climate we are living in as part of our Permaculture initiative at Murmurs. Our goal is to cooperatively share resources and labor to build a better society and community through mutual aid. The proceeds will go toward funding @shoutyourabortion — a collective & grassroots movement that elevates safe paths to access, regardless of legality. The artists will showcase functional and sculptural artwork that explores the relationship between humanity & nature. Specifically the focus is on works that are inspired by our day-to-day surroundings and utilize materials sourced from the natural environment.
