Celebrate the opening of Armory Center for the Arts' new exhibition "Exposure: Native Art and Political Ecology." See the exhibition and enjoy art-making activities for all ages from 1:00-2:00 PM. Exposure presents Indigenous artists’ responses to the impacts of nuclear testing, uranium mining, and the subsequent contamination of the ancestral, unceded lands of present-day Australia, Canada, Greenland, the US, Japan, and the Pacific Islands. The works range from traditional to new media and uplift personal stories of illness, struggle, and resilience in the face of corporate willfulness and government complicity. Masks and proof of vaccination are required for all guests.
