Gallery co-founder and guiding light Shawn Hosner was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer and it has tossed their entire world upside down and into the air. She’s lovingly referred to as “gallery mom” and she means so much to so many around the world. Rallying the community around the cause, Thinkspace has brought some of their most beloved and incredible artists together for a special group show, where 25% of each sale goes directly to the American Cancer Society. Featuring work from Alex Face, Audrey Kawasaki, Giorgiko, Perez Bros, RYOL, Brian Viveros, Kayla Mahaffey and many more, it is a demonstration of the capabilities of the New Contemporary Art movement. Filling the other galleries, Thinkspace features b. Robert Moore’s Out the Mud: A Black American Rite Of Passage, Marissa Reyes’s Fighting Fickle Feelings For You, and Roja’s Asco. These shows open March 4, 2023 with a reception from 6PM to 10PM. They will remain on view until March 25, 2023 at Thinkspace Projects.
