The LODGE is pleased to present Lola Rose Thompson, "Flowers to Make Up for Everything", her second solo exhibition in Los Angeles.Lola Rose Thompson was born in 1986 in Los Angeles, California. She studied sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and received her BFA from Otis College of Fine Arts.Her paintings are inspired by the classic subjects artists have always favored - the still life, and the nude. Emojis and gifs are the cupids and goblins of today, creatures who haunt our dreams and aid us in communicating our values, ideas and experiences.
