Sewing Seeds of Consent is the final implementation of a collaborative process of ideas and art-making between Peace Over Violence and undergraduate students enrolled in a Sex and Activism course taught by instructor, Gina Valona and mentor, Anne Bray. Presented at Brainworks Gallery and sponsored by Art Active. The course is designed to broaden assumptions about sexual expression, relations and healing and to offer students and the public and opportunity to appreciate the fascinating range of artistic expressions to support survivors, end sexual violence and disrupt rape culture.
