We Ride at Dawn is a group exhibition featuring 17 artists in the USC Roski School of Art and Design Post-Studio Roundtable course. Students expand their work and minds vis-a-vis exercises, discussions, visiting artists, and “Looking and Listening” - durational observation trips to the LAX International Arrivals terminal and Echo Park Lake. With Jennifer West as their faculty mentor, artists from vastly different practices create individual works throughout the semester that culminate into a final, self-organized show. Though unassumingly separate, the works presented in We Ride at Dawn highlight the course’s unique nature and its intimacy created amongst classmates. Food and drinks will be served, along with music provided by DJ Smoother. Live performances shall be occurring throughout the evening.
