Introducing | Brook Hsu Screening

Sep 12, 11 AM - 5 PM — ends Oct 17, 2020
In Lieu is pleased to announce Introducing, an exhibition of work by Kayla Ephros, Katja Farin, Vanessa Gully-Santiago, Ficus Interfaith, Maren Karlson, Amelia Lockwood, Gozié Ojini, Lauren Quin, Pauline Shaw, Alix Vernet, and Amia Yokoyama.

As we inch towards wrapping up our fourth year in operation, this exhibition serves as a reintroduction of the gallery and a marker of our next chapter. This month we announced our representation of Kayla Ephros, Katja Farin, Ficus Interfaith, Maren Karlson, Pauline Shaw, and Amia Yokoyama. As we’ve grown from a scrappy, small upstart these six artists have grown with us and we couldn’t be happier to be furthering our mutually-enriching relationships.

Each represented artist is included in this exhibition alongside five more artists we’re excited about. Works by Vanessa Gully-Santiago, Amelia Lockwood, Gozié Ojini, Lauren Quin, and Alix Vernet beautifully compliment our gallery artists. Taken in as a singular experience, the exhibition exemplifies our vision of who we are as a gallery and who we will become.
