BOZOMAG is excited to announce "AQUARIUM", an exhibition of photography by Walker Olesen. The show will open on Sunday, August 1st from 12-5PM. The opening reception will be walk-in friendly. "Walker Olesen is a droplet of inkjet raining down on the luster photo rag state of California. Loosed again from the confines of his Brooklyn youth, matte ink has been switched to photo and Walker is doggy paddling the wet waters west, camera clutched precariously above the surface surging. Surgically repaired ankle and its new titanium contents returning to 80% functionality, Walker prepares to crawl from the currents deep, dark: onto land where he might find many outlets. Here he will recharge his camera battery that it might slap shutters closed forever more or at least until the next jolt of electricity strikes to sustain it." Walker Olesen is a photographer from California. Born in 1991 he received his BA from UCLA School of Arts and Architecture and his MFA from Yale School of Art. --------------- BOZOMAG will open a sculpture exhibition entitled "Summer Bloom" by CACtTUS (Creative Arts Coalition to Transform Urban Space) in the Backyard of its Space. CACtTUS is a collaborative sculpture project founded by Jorge Mujica. This selection of sculptures feature contributions by Rob Grad, Sergio Hurtado, & Kristofferson San Pablo. This exhibition opens Sunday, August 1st, from 12-5PM.
