On Friday, October 1 at 2 PM PST, learn more about exhibition artist Vanessa McConnell’s painting process and create your own work with ECF Art Centers teaching artists Alexandra Bunch and Juan Carlos Ornelas. Link to register: https://www.lamag.org/lamagplaypaint-like-me-exploring-the-process-of-vanessa-mcconnellfriday-october-1-at-2-pm-pst/ Supply List and Additional Information: Canvas board 11 x 14 inches or larger Acrylic paint in a variety of colors (primary colors are recommended) Blue painters tape about 1 inch thickness Gel medium thickening gel (Liquitex) Flat paint brushes (medium and large sizes) Water cup Paper towels Prep work is highly encouraged before the workshop begins. Please allow enough dry time for your canvas or paper. Apply several layers of paint to your surface as desired. Keep in mind you will be blocking areas with tape and adding more paint. Once the tape is removed all visible layers will be revealed.
