One Way Out, a solo exhibition by Los Angeles based artist Sissòn, invites you into the push-pull of their life experiences and their return to expression as a means of triumph. Stemming from a deeply personal place, Sissòn’s acrylic paintings on cotton canvas and concrete slab paintings are windows into their journey from gangbanging at age 15 to their return to painting as a loving means of escape from the violence they found themselves in.
