Join Art + Practice for its fall opening event celebrating the opening of three solo shows: "Chloë Bass | #sky #nofilter: Hindsight for a Future America", "Justen LeRoy: Lay Me Down in Praise" and "Thaddeus Mosley: Forest" on September 17th from 2-5pm. The exhibitions will be on view at A+P until January 21, 2023.

"Chloë Bass | #sky #nofilter: Hindsight for a Future America" is a photography, text-based performance art, and public sculpture project by conceptual artist Chloë Bass. The exhibition is curated by Taylor Renee Aldridge, Visual Arts Curator, California African American Museum (CAAM). The exhibition is co-presented by CAAM and A+P.

"Justen LeRoy: Lay Me Down In Praise", created by multi-disciplinary artist Justen LeRoy, is a three-channel film installation that asks how the scream, moan, and melisma–also known as the vocal run–provides a sonic route toward Black environmentalism. The exhibition is curated by Essence Harden, Visual Arts Curator, CAAM. The exhibition is co-presented by CAAM and Art + Practice.

"Thaddeus Mosley: Forest" will feature five recent large-scale walnut sculptures by artist Thaddeus Mosley. The exhibition is curated by Jessica Bell Brown, Curator and Department Head of Contemporary Art at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
