The Underground Museum launches its 2018 programs with Holding Court: Elizabeth Alexander and Robin Coste Lewis. The list of accolades held by these two brilliant women includes a National Book Award, Pulitzer nominations, professorships at Yale, Columbia, Harvard, USC, and a reading for President Obama’s first inauguration. Elizabeth Alexander was recently appointed the President of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Robin Coste Lewis is the Poet Laureate of Los Angeles.
