Four Colombians, DjLu, Erre,Toxicoómano Callejero, and Lesivo, will show alongside Binho Ribeiro from Brazil and Iskarfrom Mexico. This exciting international collection, curated by Jason Ostro and ElenaJacobson, opens April 21.The six artists’ distinct styles evolved on the streets of metropolises like Bogotá, São Paulo,and Mexico City. Now they channel the energy and complexity of life in those bustling urbancenters onto the gallery walls of LA. Vibrant color, bold stencil-work, and fearless politicalcommentary abound in this stunning celebration of Latin American street art.During their stay in Southern California, the artists will also be painting murals throughoutthe region in collaboration with Gabba Alley Project, Smile South Central, and Street Artistin Residence at House of Trestles.The opening night reception for Borderless: Latin America will take place Saturday, April 21from 7-11pm.
