Join art muse and artist Regina Mamou at MOCA for a close look at legendary photographers Brassaï, Diane Arbus, and Nan Goldin. Real Worlds presents three bodies of work: 1930s Paris at night through the lens of Brassaï, 1960s New York in the unsettling portraits of Arbus, and an intimate, visceral view of the life of Goldin and her friends from the 1970s and 80s. Regina explores the exhibition from the unique perspective of a photographer.About Regina Mamou: Regina is a visual artist and arts lecturer with specialization in photography and contemporary art. She holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Regina worked in the Department of Education at The Art Institute of Chicago, and she continues to work independently with the Art Institute as a study leader for the museum’s travel programs.
