Fee: $35.00Art muse and artist Angela Bryant guides a walking tour of Hollywood galleries. We begin our gallery hop at Steve Turner Contemporary. Force of Nature features work by six artists who use the beauty of nature to convey the often ugly realities of present-day political issues such as immigration, climate control, and land
abuse.Next, at Gavlak Gallery, we explore the cut-paper paintings of Francesca Gabbiani. This body of work Vague Terrains and Urban Fuckups embodies a beautiful yet eerie post-apocalyptic
vibe.At our final gallery, Various Small Fires, we experience Tanit by Kathryn Garcia. Her installation, informed by matriarchal cultures, is based on the construction of a temple to encourage mediation. About Angela Bryant: Angela is an artist, curator, and lecturer. She holds an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 2009, she founded Abryant Gallery, a consultation service and contemporary art gallery for young/new and emerging artists.
