The seven artists in U.B.U, share an affinity for repurposed materials, process, figurative abstraction, vernacular culture, and a sense of reverent play. Curated by Sahar Khoury and Alicia McCarthy, two artists inextricably linked to Bay area art scenes for the last twenty years, U.B.U. is an invocation of the life blood of artist friendships.
