Holding Court: Rick Lowe
3508 W. Washington Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90018
Monday, May 28 at 3:00 PM 4:30 PM
Ends May 28, 2018
In 1993, artist Rick Lowe founded Project Row Houses, a brilliant "social sculpture" that transformed a collection of abandoned houses in Houston's historic Third Ward into a world renowned cultural center now covering five city blocks with exhibitions, artist residencies and community development programs. His Holding Court session will demonstrate how politics, neighborhoods and the environment can all become mediums for art. Space is limited, please arrive early. Lyft recommended, parking is sparse. This event is co-presented with USC's Roski School of Fine Art.
