To commemorate the second annual Hauser & Wirth Exchange Residency for Post-MFA Students, we are pleased to present ‘When the peaks of our washing sound come together, my tree house will have a roof’ performed by residency alumni, Sinchong Xie. This durational performance, in the Garden at Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles, examines memory and identity through movement and repetition. The artist encourages the audience to walk around the site and amidst the performers to experience the work from different angles. This event is free, however, reservations are recommended.
