Center for the Arts Eagle Rock and Chalk Repertory Theatre present a month of Open Studio events with interactive theatre and hands-on art making. Each Sunday afternoon's program includes four short plays by LA playwrights Inda Craig-Galván, Eric Reyes Loo, Ruth McKee and Meg Miroshnik, developed in collaboration with visual artists Marjam Oskoui and Matthew Alan Robinson. The pieces are directed by Megan Smith McGuane, Deidra Edwards and Dav Yendler, and feature artist and artists' model Vanna Mae, as well as performances by Amy Ellenberger, Teri Reeves, Walter Belenky, Pearl Bindler, Mo Beatty, Aja Houston, Sara Amini, Hilary Ward and Alexis Genya. Come any time during the three-hour window. We recommend staying an hour to experience the art exhibit, performances and art-making activities. This event is free and family-friendly!
