In January 2019, LACE will present Take my money, take my body, an exhibition that proposes a relationship between K-Pop and contemporary art, curated by Narei Choi and Nicolas Orozco-Valdivia. In line with K-Pop’s cosmopolitan populism, this group show will include international and local artists who share an engagement with the aesthetics of globalization.As part of the CalArts Summer Art Residency program, Choi and Orozco-Valdivia will present their curatorial research in the form of a public lecture.*Event will take place in the Baldessari Classroom on the campus of California Institute of the Arts.
