Maiden LA 2018 Launch Party & Fundraiser will be kicking off a month-long program of events. This year’s launch party will be generously hosted by artist-run collective, Tiger Strikes Asteroid and is in collaboration with bar-fund, an LA based grant-building initiative that provides grants for local artists. Special thanks to Ben Brunnemer for DJ'ing the evening and Typical Office for installing the show!The launch of the 2018 program will raise funds for Maiden LA and bar-fund, two volunteer, artist-run ventures. The event will include a pop-up show with works for sale donated by various LA-based artists, and a bar tended by bar-fund. 20% of proceeds from art sales will be donated to RAICES and the rest will help offset Maiden LA’s programming costs, while donations and tips from the bar will be used to provide a bar-fund artist grant.
