Please join us for an artist talk with Chris Engman, in conjunction with his solo exhibition Refraction, on Saturday, March 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. Refraction features various photographic projects ranging from architectural to sculptural to two-dimensional, each acknowledging strategies of seeing. Engman explores the relationship between illusion and reality by exposing the deceit inherent in photographic image-making while engaging in philosophical and material play around slips in translation.
