Jim Shaw is a multidisciplinary artist and an icon of the Los Angeles art scene. His work explores the subconscious of American society, elucidating alternative spiritualities and social histories. Jodi Wille, an American filmmaker, book publisher, film programmer and curator known for her work exploring American subcultures, directed and produced the documentary "The Source Family" (2013) and is currently in production directing a feature documentary on the Unarius Academy of Science. Shaw and Wille will present and discuss rare filmic clips from their respective archives, followed by music by Shaw and friends within an installation of the artist’s creation.
