Please join LA UP as we proudly debut the newest collection of vibrant neon art created by the incomparable, LA-native Tory DiPietro. A note from the artist: As far back as my earliest memories, I have been collecting images, places, and moments in my mind that stand out. As the years go by, they form different meanings - puzzles fitting together differently - expanding my life. Many of the pieces have been dark, and this work is a celebration of getting to the brighter side of this life's puzzle." Tory DiPietro's "Life is Puzzling" exhibition embodies the the unique paths we travel, showcasing vintage puzzles lit with cleverly paired neon. This body of work is an engaging display of overcoming one's own darkness and changing the narrative to fuel personal growth. Tory aims to activate your mind, and give light to the heaviness of solving your own puzzles. Doors will open at the NEUTRA Institute & Gallery at 6pm.
