His work explores the haunting relationship between commodity, consumer culture and synthetic situations in America with humorous installations. Jef- fzilla is mostly known for transforming galleries, houses, bookshops, and bars into phantasmal queer Halloween installations which critique and reconfigure mass-pro- duced goods, images into subversive iconography.
