An exhibition of print and plant. Desert Stories is the visual exploration of landscapes, plants and people. I have been collecting cactus for a while and have always been fascinated by deserts and I wanted to find plants that were unique and grown in especially harsh environments. All of these forces of nature slowly shaping the cacti like sculptures created by weather herself. " says Luke Wooden. Desert Stories will display 19 rare cactus planted in fine pottery - carefully curated by the artist Luke Wooden- and 16 prints showcasing the artist’s journey through the desert creating a unique visual exploration of desert landscapes, plants and people.
