Infrastructure Lovers exhibition walkthrough

Infrastructure Lovers, a group exhibition exploring the implicit promise of various forms of infrastructure. This “promise”, whether it be ease, transformation, or connection, is both shaped and bent by the weight of capital - often creating adjacent issues and tangential problems alongside the very matters infrastructures intend to solve. It is from these complex networks that the works included in the exhibition act as surrogates for locations, memories, or expectations of promises fulfilled. Through disparate practices, the artists of Infrastructure Lovers consider infrastructure as vital energy; blurring timelines, critiquing maintenance, and emphasizing liminal spaces.
