On Saturday, March 12 at 6:30pm, join Stroll Garden for a conversation between ceramic artist Raina Lee and Rachel Du, Specialist for Chinese Works of Art at Bonhams Los Angeles. The event will begin with a tour of Raina's solo exhibition 'Homeworld', followed by a Q&A and drinks. 'Homeworld', on view through April 2, features large, hand-formed vessels that expand on Lee's experimentation with sculptural glaze and alternative firings. Many works draw upon classical Chinese ceramic shapes, such as the Meiping and Lotus Bud, and give a nod to classical colors, such as a sky-blue interpretation of Song dynasty Jun glazes.
