Under the Influence — is a special Project Room installation by Abe Odedina (Ibadan, Nigeria, b. 1960), his first show in Los Angeles. The exhibition of paintings will open Tuesday, February 15th to coincide with Frieze Week LA, and is on view through March 12, 2022. Lip, Body, and Foot — is an installation of recent ceramics by Jay Kvapil (USA, b. 1951). These exuberant glazed vessels were made during the pandemic and are the culmination of Kvapil’s thirty-five-year studio practice at California State University Long Beach. This is his second solo show with the gallery.
