Slingshot through the Bellows explores the unadulterated imagination of childhood through the use of intricate layered textile work presented in an immersive site-specific installation. Dachi Cole is a mixed media artist. Her work uses collage, sculpture, sound, illustration, animation and textile as a tool or tuning fork to form and unravel the hidden stuff in plain sight. Inspired often by the talismans of childhood, she uses found and recycled objects and textile to inform what she calls the crossover: How we get to one end from the other.
