Food and drinks by Olga Hernandez Zendejas will be served from 12-5pm, flowers arranged by Pascale Romero, AND catch a special performance by Junior at 3 pm a collaborative performative project. Servicios Express is an exhibition in which Romero shares her mother’s personal history of migration, labor, informal markets, and the food service industry. Presented in both gallery rooms, Romero uses film, ceramic sculpture, and performance to engage with questions of origin, reflect on the complexity of labor, and draw attention to how the body holds the weight of these experiences.
