Please join us for an in-person reception, from 6-9 pm Saturday May 27th, celebrating the museum's two early summer exhibitions: Baker’s Dozen-a survey of thirteen Southern California contemporary art practices Artists: Suzanne Bybee, Pui Tiffany Chow, Rosson Crow, Lola del Fresno, James Gilbert, Deborah Lynn Irmas, James Langford, Atilio Pernisco, Cindy Phenix, Alicia Piller, Dani Tull, Jack X Proctor, and Leslie Foster & LAURIE LIPTON drawings Inspired by the religious paintings of the Flemish School, Lipton works using a unique drawing technique, building up tone with thousands of fine cross-hatching lines like an egg tempera painting. The exhibitions will remain on view during normal museum hours, through June 17th th.
