This event is free, but reservations are required. The event includes a screening of “Beyond I Wanna Go," a documentary short by Cheryl Dunn that commemorates a decade of wearable art fashions created at Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, CA. This will be the documentary’s Los Angeles premiere in. After the screening, enjoy music from DJ Arshia Haq (aka Discostan) and a Pop-Up shop with one-of-kind 'Beyond Trend' fashions created by the artists of Creative Growth. Since 1974, Creative Growth, a non-profit studio space and gallery, has supported artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 100% of all proceeds from these sales benefit their organization.
