Taco Bell Drawing Club Exhibition Celebrates Creative Community Long Beach, CA, August 10, 2023 – The Taco Bell Drawing Club is proud to announce their first exhibition, showcasing works made by talented members at their club meetings. The exhibition will take place on August 16th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on the patio at Taco Bell, located at 3125 E. Broadway, Long Beach, CA. This one-night-only event is a culmination of three years of creative expression, and promises an evening of artistic inspiration, community engagement, and tacos. Drawing inspiration from the late visionary artist Jason Polan, who established the original Taco Bell Drawing Club in New York City in 2005, the Long Beach chapter has passionately carried forward his legacy. Over the past three years, members of the Long Beach Taco Bell Drawing Club have united over a shared love for art, fostering a welcoming space for creativity to flourish. The exhibition will showcase drawings created by the club members during their Taco Bell meetups, highlighting their diverse talents and unique perspectives. From quick, bold sketches to intricate illustrations, the pieces on display will capture the essence of creativity that flourishes within the Taco Bell Drawing Club community. "We are excited to share the work of our talented members through this unique exhibition," says Nick Zegel, the club's organizer. "When I learned of Jason’s untimely passing, I was moved to host a meetup at my local Taco Bell. Never would I have imagined that three years later Taco Bell has become a place of inspiration, connection, and artistic expression for us. Jason’s brilliance has revealed itself in this concept. It’s so fun, open, and just plain silly that it has drawn us all together." As the Taco Bell Drawing Club continues to make its mark in the art world, the exhibition serves as a testament to the club's commitment to artistic exploration and community engagement. Exhibiting artists include Nick Zegel, Stephanie Han, Asia Morris, Nathan Asplund, Zadie Baker, Daniel Whelan, Tom Solares, Christopher Rossetti, Natalie Ayala, Erin Grissom, Aurora McCarty, Olive Ray, Zarek Suque, Sarah Minevich, Elvira Wittman, and whoever may decide to make a drawing on exhibition night!
