Don’t miss the artHYPE Benefit Love Potion No. 9 Paint & Sip at TAG Gallery! Get your ticket to the first artHYPE benefit for humanistic, underrepresented artists and growth mindset art programs! At Registration At 5pm, Birdbrain Duo returns for its second performance at TAG, featuring their inspiring rendition of Love Potion No. 9! We will enjoy the bartender's famous lemon drops by Victoria + non-alcoholic drinks, pizza, and nosh! A Casual, Easy Paint-and-Sip at TAG Gallery 6:15 pm, after a brief pre-recorded demo, Wren Sarrow, Emily Wallerstein, and oil painting volunteers will help ticket holders create an oil painting (a few canvas-printed designs to choose from or go freestyle with a blank canvas). The custom designs are based on Charles Demuth’s I Saw The Number 5 In Gold, an original interpretation of Love Potion No. 9 by Wren Sarrow, and a Steamboat Mickey & Minnie Valentine’s Day. The three pre-printed canvas designs are simplified to complete in 2 hours, or painters can start from scratch with a blank canvas. Painters can pick up their completed oil painting at TAG February 9, or have it shipped for $25. artHYPE Foundations First Silent Auction The artHYPE Silent Auction features many small paintings by well-known L.A. artists, a framed lithograph page designed by Picasso, NFL Sofi Tickets and artist’s Tote, Laila Alamiri Photography, Lori Lea Headshots, Rofia Salami Styling, Sarrow Studio Fine Art oil portraits, entertainment and sustainable merch, great books, and more! The artHYPE Silent Auction ends at 9:15 pm PST Feb 2nd, and we invite art supporters who cannot attend to take part in the Silent Auction now through Friday. artHYPE Pop-Up Invitational Exhibition, Lazarus Gallery Contemporary artworks by Genesis Be, Walt Wali Neil and invited talent will be featured and available for fixed prices in TAG’s new Lazarus Gallery on the 2nd floor for one night only.
